Autumn snow hits the Midlands

Snow has hit the Midlands and other parts of the UK; and it is only November and still Autumn!

Snow coverage at 10pm

After more than 21mm of rain during the day, the rain became sleet then snow in the early evening which settled quite quickly even on the wet roads.

It is expected to continue snowing overnight with the snow likely to turn to rain on Monday. The low temperatures will slow the thaw.

Please take extra care when travelling.
